《設計與思考》是一部在探討「設計思考」(design thinking)的紀錄片。 「設計思考」是當下設計界和企業界同樣熱門討論的一個話題, 近年由美國知名公司 IDEO 所引爆,提倡左右腦並進的企業模式,也將人性關懷及創意發想帶進創業與決策的大雅之堂。設計思考的理念和用途, 當前在美國備受爭議, 而本片的出現客觀呈現各界對設計思考的正反意見, 將能帶來更多的省思。 這是第一部台灣人拍攝的設計紀錄片, 製作團隊清一色都是台灣人, 但是不畏挑戰選了這個目前美國本土的最熱門話題拍片, 這個年輕的團隊相當堅定, 希望用當地人與外來者的視角, 拍出一片具有意義和啟發性的影片, 獻給台灣和全世界。 Design & Thinking is a documentary exploring the idea of design thinking !
